“KILL THE APP”, speculating on post-Dystopian futures through sound. A virtual residency period with the financial support of the Goethe Institut.
Anxiously traveling through the noisy and harsh sounds of the labyrinth of Dystopia, the whispered dreams of Utopia can still be heard.
But in such a hostile environment they become susceptible:
are those whispers or shrieks?
Voices or alarm sirens?
Melodies or downward spirals?
Among those sounds one can also feel
the vibrations produced by APP,
the machine constantly changing the geometries of the maze.
